Hi all,
My name is Mike and my wife Brooke and I own two Italian Greyhounds named Penny and Joseph (aka Joey or "Joseph-MoMoseph"). They are both about 2 years old and Penny just had a litter of 6 puppies. We hope that some of the new owners will join us on this forum to stay in touch and talk about their dogs!
We know that the puppies are still growing and they aren't quite ready for play time just yet, but we've already set up a date on the calendar here - March 22nd for play time. Hope you can join us!
Mike
Hi Mike & Brooke,
Thanks for setting this up...I know Joy will benefit from gettint together with the rest of her family in the near future (and I'm sure Ted and I will benefit too)!
So far, so good. It's Puppy-palooza around our house and we're having a great time.
Thanks again for everything. I'm sure we'll be seeing and talking w/ you more soon!

h[/color]i mike and brooke!
wow, thanks for setting this up! i'm so glad to have a place to talk about our new little guy-- i think we've decided to call him "fergus" since in celtic mythology fergus and flidais were lovers, and we got fergus to be flidais' mate! anyway, fergus is such a love, sleeps through the night happily in someone or other's arms in our beds, is loved completely by one and all (including those who weren't initially so thrilled about the idea!). he's eating well, and after a couple days of being ignored by his 4 canine siblings, is now able to engage them in some play, which i'm sure will build to a booming crescendo of doggy motion in no time! i'll keep you all updated.
looking forward to our playdate! and thanks again so much for a wonderful little pup brooke and mike!

hi guys,
just wondering how little runtie is doing, thinking about the little gal a lot. fergus is doing great, still very spunky and jumping up on the bed and couch, loves our heated mattress pad! looking forward to my weekend coming up in a couple hours and spending more time with him. any takers on the other guys?

Hi Anni,
So glad to hear that Fergus is settling in nicely to your home!
We found a buyer for Joseph Jr. so we'll be down to 2 puppies after this weekend. Still looking for homes for Runty and Big Bob. Runty is doing much better with her food and gaining weight, but still lagging behind Bob and Joseph Jr. We are hoping she continues her good progress and she can become available for adoption soon.
Talk to you soon!
is joseph jr going to be local also? i'm happy to hear he's got a home to go to. and very glad to hear that runty is coming along.
it's raining cats and dogs here in boulder creek, got the wood stove roaring and ready to settle in for a nice cozy weekend with all the doggies and kitty!
have a good weekend yourselves,
anni
Hi Y'all,
Happy to hear all the pups are doing well! Especailly little Runty. We're having a ball with our little Joy. She hasn't slept through the night yet (but last night we had five hours straight and then three, so that's a huge improvement) and she's no where near potty trained yet, but we're all having a a great time getting to know each other.
This is the first chance I've had to post anything in a while. She keeps me busy, but she's snoozing in my lap and letting me get lots of work done this afternoon. I often wonder who she's chasing when her little legs start running in her sleep (I hope it's not our pet rats).
She's met lots of nice people and is very social. We're looking forward to her getting her second round of shots this Saturday so that she can meet some other dogs. We start the Pets Mart Puppy training the following Saturday.
Anyway, Thanks again Mike & Brooke and Joey & Penny for such a lovely child. She really is our JOY.
